MULTI-CHANNEL UNIVERSAL IP SOLUTION
The RSX-1010 provides multi-channel transmission in shared local and wide area networks, including Fiber-to-the-Home (“Dark Fiber”) services. With it´s core feature, the support of NTT´s fiber optical network ("HIKARI DENWA") it is the advanced up-to-date replacement for traditional ISDN connections.
LOSSLESS HIGH RESOLUTION AUDIO
The RSX-1010 provides the transmission of uncompressed high-resolution audio with up to 24 Bit and 96 kHz. Higher channel counts can be transmitted with the integrated FM-quality codec (RFC3190). An additional INTERCOM I/O provides bi-directional communication besides the main multi-channel transmission.
RELIABLE REALTIME TRANSMISSIONS
The RSX-1010 provides broadcast-reliable transmissions with low latency and STL-grade quality. Thanks to the patented RESONETZ sample synchronization and the realtime network monitoring algorithms, the RSX-1010 delivers a superior source-to-target packet-integrity even in shared networks with high transmission jitter.

Bandwidth-optimized audio. Equivalent to FM radio quality
Reduced Frequency Response: ~ 16 kHz.
The number of transmitted channels depends on the used codec and the available network bandwidth.
With NTT´s HIKARI DENWA up to 6 channels of CD audio quality (16 bit/44.1 kHz) or 10 channels of FM radio quality can be transmitted.

Finally the virtual concert hall is here: Thanks to the RESONETZ REALTIME IP TECHNOLOGY the high-resolution recording of a classical concert is immediately available in the production studio or the broadcast station. In the moment of it´s creation.
BROADCAST IP LINKS
All kinds of high-quality, long-range broadcast audio transmissions over inexpensive IP links (stereo and multi-channel). E. g.: Distribution of radio programs 24/7 from the production studio to the broadcasting stations, remote and outside broadcasts, Studio-to-Studio or Studio-to-Transmitter-Links (STL).
MOBILE LOCATION RECORDING
The RSX-1010 is perfectly suited to connect mobile recording setups temporarily to the main production studio via leased network lines or NTT´s HIKARI DENWA for the time of the recording.
HIGH-QUALITY LIVE LOCATION STREAMING
Multi-Channel live audio streaming of concerts, sport events or news reports to the main production studio. Either via fixed installations in the concert hall, arena or within an OB VAN.
REPLACEMENT FOR ANY ISDN CONNECTION
Developed in cooperation with NTT the RSX-1010 is fully capable of outperforming and replacing traditional ISDN connections by HIKARI DENWA IP connections. The fiber optical network provides guaranteed transmission bandwidths (from 5 MBit/s), low latencies, reliable transmissions and is accessable everywhere in the country for an inexpensive price.
HIGH-PROFILE AUDIO CONFERENCES
Business meetings and conferences will profit not only from the best and undisturbed sound quality, but provide a secure bi-directional, realtime link over vast distances. This way permanent and flexible audio links can be established throughout the country. Meeting rooms, production facilities, studios or headquarters can be immediately connected as easy as a "phone call".
THE VIRTUAL CONCERT HALL
A MOMENT OF ART. PASSED ON.
A complete realtime recording, editing and distributing system, is based on two connected RSX-1010: This way location limits can be avoided and transport costs can be decreased. High-Quality content production will be possible in realtime. The source is recorded at the concert hall, converted to RESONETZ IP PROTOCOL and transmitted directly as multi-channel audio with up to 96 kHz (depending on the network bandwidth) to the production studio.
In the studio, the audio data can be recorded, mixed, edited and mastered. The final production master is uploaded to a distribution server and can be provided to end customers. Visitors of the concert can download the final media. It’s even possible to transmit the high-resolution signal to another concert hall and play it live to an interested audience on an immerse audio speaker system (“public listening”).

LOCAL AREA NETWORK (LAN)
The RSX-1010 can operate in local networks, e.g. broadcast in-house-networks, studio complexes, theaters, stadiums or live sound setups.
Common of-the-the-shelf network switches are supported.
WIDE AREA NETWORK (WAN)
RESONETZ LINK devices can transmit data via public networks with shared traffic, including the internet.
Common IP switches and routers to access complex network infrastructures are supported.
Clients can lease unused ("Dark") optical connections ("Fiber") from a provider and create their own privately-operated network. The network is separated from the traffic-shared public network and can provide high bandwidths.
NTT HIKARA DENWA
The RSX1010 provides support for NTT´s IP-based optical phone network ("Hikari Denwa"). With guaranteed 5 Mbps bandwidth of a single connection up to 10 audio channels can be transmitted in both directions.

RESONETZ´s UNIVERSAL IP TECHNOLOGY outperforms not only traditional broadcast audio links, like ISDN or leased lines, in quality and bandwidth, but especially in cost efficiency.
By using inexpensive IP links the overall transmission costs are significantly lower - by achieving professional broadcast audio quality and reliability at the same time.
